Pir Waqar Hussain Shah has dedicated his life to serving humanity through education, compassion, and community development. Guided by a deep sense of social responsibility, he believes that lasting social transformation is achieved by empowering people through education, skills, and opportunity.
His vision led to the establishment of Al-Ijaz Sweet Home in 2016, followed by the Al-Ijaz Education System (AES), Kallar Kahar, providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive educational environment where children from all backgrounds can learn and thrive.
Committed to preserving the dignity and self-respect of every child, he has championed a philosophy of inclusion, respect, and empowerment. Through Al-Ijaz Foundation, he continues to pursue a vision of a more educated, inclusive, and compassionate Pakistan, creating opportunities that transform lives and strengthen communities.

Mrs. Almas Khanum is a highly experienced educationist with over four decades of distinguished service in teaching, academic administration, and educational leadership. Holding a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Political Science and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), she has built an exceptional career across leading educational institutions in Pakistan and abroad.
Throughout her professional journey, she has served as a teacher, lecturer, academic coordinator, vice principal, principal, and headmistress, including appointments at Pakistan Embassy Schools in Beijing, China, and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as well as renowned institutions such as GIK Institute Schools, Aziz Bhatti School & College, and Mashal Postgraduate College, POF Wah Cantt.
With extensive expertise in academic planning, institutional development, faculty supervision, curriculum implementation, and educational leadership, she has consistently promoted quality education and student development. Her lifelong commitment to educational excellence, character building, and equal learning opportunities aligns closely with the mission of Al-Ijaz Foundation, where she contributes significantly to its educational and social development initiatives.

Pir Shoukat Hussain Shah is a prominent social worker, entrepreneur, and community leader with extensive experience in public service, business management, and community development. Holding degrees in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), he brings a strong foundation in legal, administrative, and governance matters.
He has remained actively engaged in community welfare initiatives, particularly in the Chakwal region, supporting education, social welfare, and sustainable community development. Alongside his social contributions, he has held leadership positions in several business organizations, gaining valuable expertise in strategic planning, organizational management, financial oversight, corporate governance, and business development.
His diverse professional experience and longstanding commitment to public welfare enable him to contribute effectively to the governance and strategic direction of Al-Ijaz Foundation, supporting its mission to serve vulnerable and underserved communities.

Executive Director
Dr. Shoaib Ahmed is an accomplished educationist, development practitioner, policy analyst, and institution builder with over 30 years of experience in higher education, educational leadership, human development, institutional capacity building, and community empowerment. Throughout his distinguished career, he has mentored thousands of students who now serve as leaders in government, academia, the armed forces, healthcare, engineering, business, and development sectors across Pakistan and internationally.
Holding a Master’s degree in Education Planning and Management (First Class First Position), a PhD in Social Sciences, and Post-Doctoral studies in Development Economics (UK), Dr. Ahmed has served in academic and leadership roles at renowned institutions including Punjab Group of Colleges, NUST, National Defence University (NDU), Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, and Foundation University.
As Executive Director of Al-Ijaz Foundation and Al-Ijaz Education System, he has translated his educational philosophy into an inclusive model that provides quality education and equal opportunities for children from diverse social and economic backgrounds, including orphaned and underprivileged students. Guided by the belief that education is the most effective instrument for transforming lives and building stronger societies, he continues to promote educational excellence, institution building, youth empowerment, and community development through Al-Ijaz Foundation.

Mr. Shehryar Waqar is a young professional and Economics graduate from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. He possesses practical experience in business operations, project management, cost control, and organizational administration.
Mr. Shehryar Waqar is serving as a Partner at Rising Sons, where he oversees operational activities across multiple project sites. His responsibilities include operational planning, resource management, coordination of field activities, performance monitoring, and ensuring the efficient execution of organizational objectives. Mr. Waqar joined Rising Sons in 2017 as a Cost Control Officer. In this role, he was responsible for cost monitoring, budget management, financial reporting, and operational support. Through his professional competence, commitment, and consistent performance, he progressed within the organization and was subsequently inducted as a Partner. Mr. Waqar’s academic background in Economics and his professional experience in operations and financial management have equipped him with skills in planning, budgeting, resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, and organizational governance. As a member of the Board, he contributes to strategic planning, policy oversight, and institutional development, supporting the Foundation in achieving its charitable and not-for-profit objectives in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Mr. Shah Shams Waqar holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Management from a foreign institution and has professional experience in business operations, procurement, administration, and organisational management.
Since 2019, he has served as the Deputy Managing Director of Pir & Co., where he oversees procurement, supplier relationships, contract administration, and operational planning. His experience has strengthened his expertise in resource management, stakeholder coordination, governance, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
As a Director, Mr. Waqar contributes to the Foundation’s strategic planning, governance, and institutional development. His academic background and professional experience support the Foundation in achieving its charitable objectives while ensuring sound governance and regulatory compliance

Ms. Shazia Nazir serves as the Principal of Al-Ijaz Education System (AES), Kallar Kahar, the flagship educational institution of Al-Ijaz Foundation. In her leadership role, she is committed to fostering an environment of academic excellence, discipline, character development, and student-centered learning.
Working closely with the Foundation’s leadership, she supports the institution’s mission of providing quality, inclusive, and modern education while promoting values of integrity, compassion, and lifelong learning. Her dedication contributes to creating a nurturing educational environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and become responsible members of society.
Through her commitment to educational excellence and holistic student development, Ms. Shazia Nazir plays an important role in advancing the vision and mission of Al-Ijaz Foundation.
